Operation of all Three-Wheeler Vehicles (Auto Rickshaws) within the jurisdictions of Mon Town is hereby Completely PROHIBITED with effect from 15th April, 2026 onwards.
This Order is Issued for Strict Compliance by all Concerned.

Order for Arms License Holders of Assam (Issued from Mon District) to surrender Arms & Licenses
All Arms License holders of Assam whose Licenses were issued from the Mon District are ordered to deposit their Arms along with the Arms License at their respective nearest Police Station on or before 1st March 2026, failing which necessary legal action shall be initiated against the defaulter.
As per relevant laws/guidelines, carrying of Arms is hereby prohibited till the completion of the Election process, except by those persons exempted under law.

Verification of Land Permit Details on Mon Matti Portal and Invitation of Objections
It is hereby informed to all the concerned citizens that the land permit records of Mon Town have been digitized and uploaded on the Mon Matti Portal as part of the District Administration's initiative towards transparency, efficiency and digital governance. All land permit holders are hereby advised to verify the details of their respective land permits available on the Mon Matti Portal, in cases of any discrepancy, omission or objection, the concerned person may submit an application within a period of one month from the date of publication of this notice.
